Deloitte - VDI Instructions


How to install the Citrix receiver: 

When you first start working with Deloitte Australia, you will need to follow the steps below to install the Citrix receiver.  You will only need to install this once on your machine. 

Note: All steps after 1 may slightly vary in screenshots and button names when there is a new version of Citrix. 

 

  1. You will need to open the following link in Internet Explorer: https://www.citrix.com/en-in/downloads/workspace-app/legacy-workspaceapp-for-windows-ltsr/workspace-app-for-windows-1912ltsr.html 

 

  1. This will take you to the Citrix website to download the installation files.  Press the Click on “Download Citrix Workspace app for windows “ which is of 70,2MB. 

 

  1. This will start the file download.  When it is ready, you will see this screen.  Press the “Run” button at the bottom of the page. 

 

 

  1. This will finish downloading the installation file.  When it has finished downloading, a pop-up window will appear.  Press the “Yes” button. 

 

 

 

  1. A new window will open.  Press “Start”. 

 

  1. This screen will display.  You will need to check the “I accept the license agreement” checkbox, then press “Next” 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. This page will appear.  Press the “Next” button. 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. This page will appear.  Select the “No, Thanks” radio button then press “Install” 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. When it has installed you will see this screen.  Press the “Finish” button. Note: Do not include your email address if prompted, just click on Finish and reboot

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How to log in to the Australian VDI 

The instructions below will show you how to log in to the Australian VDI. 

Note: All steps after 1 may slightly vary in screenshots and button names when there is a new version of Citrix. 

 

  1. Open this address in your Internet Explorer browser: https://connect.deloitte.com.au 

NB: Would recommend saving this link as a favourite in your Internet Explorer browser, or as a shortcut on your desktop. 

 

  1. You will be taken to the login screen.  Enter your AU username and password (username and password has been included at the bottom of the email that was sent to you). Then press the “Log On” button and then key in your MFA code

  1. Key in your MFA code and select “Submit”

  1. Click on “Desktop” at the top of your screen. 

 

  1. Once logged in, you will see this screen.  Press the “Deloitte Audit Win10 – Pooled” button and then click on “Open”

  1. This screen will appear while it is connecting:

  1. Once connected, you will see the Deloitte desktop.  This will be your “virtual machine” to use on the AU network.
